As they say, ‘free is our friend.” Check out the link in the description of this video for an MP3 download of Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers’s At Jay Peak Resort on September 10th, 2016 performance at Jay Peak Resort in Jay, Vermont. There are actually six different free show downloads including Hornsby performing his first album in it’s entirety recorded in three different locations, Portland, Oregon, Kansas City, Missouri and Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Trust me you have never heard that famous debut album sound as fresh and tasty as this! That triple platinum album released April 1, 1986 celebrated it’s 30 Anniversary last year so Hornsby gave it a new shine last year. Anyone who knows the pianist is familiar with his penchant for never doing the same song the same way twice so get ready for a little modern polish on the title track, “Mandolin Rain” and “Every Little Kiss.”

There are also loads of other concerts for purchase via MP3 and Flac formats. Visit

Hornsby also just announced six new dates with Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder. The pair released a Bluegrass/Rootsy album in 2007.

In June of last year Hornsby released, “Rehab Reunion” his first album featuring the dulcimer as the main instrument and no piano and he also hosted the “Funhouse Festival” in Virginia. – by John Beaudin
